No delay in delivering Tesla

YUYUE, MENDALE, METERSBONWE, SEMIR and many automotive suppliers (GENTHERM, WEBASTO) in the field of textiles and clothing are all downstream customers of RICHPEACE. Among all customers, more than 60% are international customers.

The Germany-funded enterprises described before is one of Tesla's main suppliers. It is a multinational auto accessory company that specializes in providing auto parts to auto companies, including seats and sunroofs. The principal say that they started with Tesla negotiations were finalized after more than half a year of talks because of the constant changes in relevant materials and technical parameters. Therefore, by October last year, Li Jinning and German-funded enterprises had confirmed the order.

According to Li Jinning said, RICHPEACE needs to provide German enterprises with automatic wiring production lines for car heated seats, including wiring stitching machines, tape machines, and cutting machines, with a total amount of about 12 million RMB. "The original plan was a five-month delivery period, with delivery to the end of February this year," he told to new financial reporter that.

But the sudden outbreak epidemic changed the production plan that had been arranged.

As in previous years, the original Spring Festival holiday of RICHPEACE was closed according to the number of national holidays. "However, various news during the Spring Festival show that the epidemic situation is very serious. I have received notification from the relevant departments before the holiday has ended, and I know that I can't be on time start."

This news is like a bolt from the blue. Li Jinning is most worried about orders with German-funded enterprises.

This is the larger of the company's single order. Generally, the single order is about several million RMB ; moreover, this Germany-funded enterprises also purchased our company's equipment production line for the first time, and they supplied it to Tesla. Tesla is very strict in production scheduling. If we delay here, the whole process will be delayed.

As soon as the notice was received, the company's project leader immediately communicated with the head of the Germany-funded enterprises. "Because this is force majeure, the other party understands that we are committed to doing our best to minimize delays."

But as company in Baodi, resumption of work needs to be very careful.

As the epidemic continues to change, the date for resumption of work has been delayed. Because Baodi ’s epidemic situation is relatively serious, “Various approvals are particularly strict. The staff of Baodi Development Zone came to our factory four or five times to help us rectify until the conditions for resuming work are reached. They also hope that we can resume work as soon as possible .

The first batch of resumption of work started on February 19. Li Jinning still remembers that there were only 49 workers returning to work at that time. After that, the number of returning workers increased every three or four days, until the return rate reached 90% on March 2.

In order to rush work, workers must work overtime, "We try not to delay delivery as much as possible, can not affect the integrity of our company, and can not affect the international reputation of Chinese companies, of course, we also attach great importance to this customer itself, looking forward to a long-term future Cooperation."

In the end, the Germany-funded enterprises order was officially completed on March 4th, packed on March 5th, and shipped on the 7th. "Compared with the original time, we are about a week late, and because of the epidemic, they were not able to resume work completely, but in the end they did not delay their production plan."

Mask machine orders in short supply

While working overtime to catch normal orders, Richpeace also launched a new mask machine production line.

Starting from the holiday on January 21st, with the development of the epidemic, the leadership discussed the project of mask making machine during the Spring Festival holiday. The meeting was formally decided on February 1st, and the project team was established on the 2nd.

On the one hand, because the market does have the mask making machine in needed; on the other hand, for Richpeace, producing the mask automatic production line is adept. We originally did customized equipment, has comprehensive technology including electrical control, machinery, ultrasonic, etc, so, there is no much difficult for technology. It is known that Richpeace's production department all adopts the organization and management mechanism of the institute. There are twelve institutes from 101 to 112, each with a different professional direction.

Newly launched mask automatic production line, Richpeace has invested in 5 research institutes to develop five specifications of mask machine production lines including surgical, foldable, fish and cups, etc. The other 3 research institutes do the supporting additional production line for mask automatic production line. In terms of personnel, about 30% is invested in the mask machine production line, and 20% is invested in the protective clothing equipment production line. The other half do the original order.

Jinning Li especially emphasized that because the mask machine project was launched, Richpeace was listed as a national key protection unit for epidemic prevention materials and also a key enterprise in Tianjin. Therefore, the Baodi District Government attaches great importance to creating conditions to help enterprises actively resume work.

Up to now, Richpeace has the ability to produce 100 mask machine production lines per month. Some customers requested add money to get our mask making machine, but our staff is limited and we can’t pick up too much.

The sudden outbreak has caught many companies off guard, but JinNing Li seizes opportunities in it.

Previously, Richpeace products involved main product included clothing (apparel, shoes& hats, luggage, etc.), living (home textile, furniture, furnishing etc.), and traveling (automotive, ship, aerospace, etc.). "This year we decided to increase our input for medical, we also had developed and produced related equipment for the production of disposable medical supplies before, but the overall proportion was not large. But this epidemic outbreak, we will increase investment in the mask machine project we launched, and we will not stop when the epidemic passed. this is a new opportunity. "According to his estimates, this year's mask machine sales can account for about 30% of the company's total sales.

At the same time, he insists that masks will accompany humans for a long time in the future. "After all, masks are a very effective isolation measure and the simplest way to block the spread of the virus. In the future, all countries will use masks as a strategic material to reserve. Based on this, he believes that the mask machine production line is an area worthy of long-term investment and research and development. "For us, it is by no means a temporary business. We hope to make this bigger and stronger in the future. and Richpeace can provide a complete solution for mask production. "

In addition to mask machines, protective clothing production lines have also been launched comprehensively. From previous fabric cutting, to single-layer cutting machine or multi-layer cutting machine, to sewing and seam sealing machine, these production equipment are our regular products. At the moment of the epidemic, "medicine" has become a new opportunity for Richpeace, and it will also be a long-term development field in the future. However, for SG Richpeace, 60% of the orders from overseas, as the epidemic are spreading continuously in countries outside China, it is obvious that export orders will be affected. "Many international exhibitions have been delayed or cancelled, and some normal trade transactions between us and international customers have also been affected. It is expected that the global epidemic will be controlled in the future and all walks of life can return to normal tracks."
